It is an orthodox combination of maple neck and maple top/mahogany back body.
Compared to my previous C-7, it has a slightly stiffer and more metal sound, perhaps due to the maple neck. The EMG81-7 is a great help.
Thanks to the EMG81-7, the lows are tight without being violent, and it is a very well-balanced guitar.

This 7-string guitar was released by LTD for overseas market just when I wanted a 25.5inch 7-string guitar with EMG81-7 on it.
At first, I was going to buy an officially imported one and tried it out, but I had to hold off because of my budget.
The neck and body sounded better than the one I was trying out, so it was a gamble, but I think it turned out to be a good result.
I plan to use it as my main guitar from now on.
