It's a reissue of the 70's Hiwatt. It doesn't distort even when the volume is turned up, so you can get a loud clean tone. When you distort it with external effects, the character changes and it distorts wildly. The reverb works very well, which is rare for this type of amp. It's too good to be true.

This is a Hiwatt from '92 or so, supervised by F. A lot of people misunderstand that the Hiwatt from the 80's is not the original Hiwatt, but a modern high-gain amp. The one supervised by F is closer to the original Hiwatt that Pete Townsend loved. The F company supervised amp is close to the original Hiwatt that Pete Townsend loved. So, this amp doesn't distort by itself. It's a great old school sounding amp.
