May 4, 2019: I had been thinking of ordering a Telecas with tremolo, rear hum, back contoured body, and reverse head from somewhere, and this first owner gave it to me.
It was a great opportunity because it is rare to find a model that is this close to my ideal, if not exactly the specs I was thinking of!
2019.5.20: The pickguard was removed and the bridge, knobs, and mini-switches were replaced, and the kill switch was changed to a tone pot.
At the same time as changing the mini-switches, the effect was also made more tom-an-leaning.
The string guide was replaced with a feather type, but it was a little rusty and I heard it had blown up in the past, so I changed it to a SCUD tubular cosmo black 5mm and we'll see how it goes.
2019.6: Swapped the PU from a DH-250b&n set to a Duncan, and replaced all the switches with NKK ones since they were often having poor contact points.
In addition, I changed from a butt shape type to a flat bar type and changed the effect of the switches.
I also changed the volume pot to 1M ohm to make it more Telecass-like and added a high-pass capacitor.
2019.7.11: T's Guitars made an acrylic PG, added a PU cover, and modified the original PG.
I think it looks pretty good now.
2020.3.17: I had the pickguard made by the first owner with a brown tortoiseshell pattern and changed the effect of the PU wiring as well.
I was going to change to black parts, but it became troublesome, so I returned to the original chrome color.
2021.1.13: I changed the PU to stock and the Vol pot to 500k ohm to get back to the general hum sound.
The circuit of the switch that was high pass Vol on/off was changed to switch between normal tone and low cut as in Schecter's SD and others.
The rear tap is now inside pole piece and the front has an adjustable pole piece enabled.
I measured the resistance of the stock PU and it was about 8.3k ohms rear and 7.1k ohms front.
