(Sold)E-II/HRF
owner: Shin
2020.11.27: I was so impressed with the one that Mr. Shiguren used when he was a member of the Fairy Empire that I thought this would be the one to get if I wanted to try my hand at 8-string guitar, and I was able to get it again at a great price considering the list price.
When I got it, it had a lot of smudges and was not in a condition to be used right away, but after polishing it, I found that there were no dents at all, and the frets were not damaged by playing.
It seems that the guitar has been on a stand for a long time and has hardly been used.
The Vol and Tone pots have been replaced, and the tone has been custom wired out, but I have put it back in.
The design is for overseas, but I think it is one of the easiest 8-string necks I have ever played.
The previous owner had used a thicker gauge on the locking pegs, and it was difficult to get the wound strings out of the post holes, so I think it might be designed to be used only with D'Addario 09-65 set.
In condition, I think it was a good buy for the price.
2021.12.28: There was a point where the frets were floating, so I had it rubbed together at the workshop, and the pitch between the strings on the nut was slightly off, so I had it remade with ox bone.
2022:I sold it because I don't expect to use it often after all.
