| sound features | The power tubes have been replaced with Tung-Sol 5881 matched pair NOS and I think it has a sweeter sound with the hardness removed than a regular hot rod. I like clean and crunch sounds, so it's the best fender amp for me. In addition, I'm basically a distortionist so I'm happy that the effects pedals work well with it. It doesn't sound like a fender, but you can get a modern high gain sound with 3 channels. I can't play it in a normal home because it has quite a low sound. It usually shakes the house. |
