2015.11.10: I met someone using this guitar when I was watching a video I played sometime this year.
I found it on a flea market app when I was still thinking about buying it someday, and I even dreamed about it, so I bought it lol.
I bought it on the same app after it was originally sold at a discount price and then resold with missing parts to make it sound better.
When I got it, I found that I couldn't adjust the T.O.M height properly and the string height was too high w
Two of the back panel, rod cover, and knob decorations are missing, and the jack plate is forcibly attached to the one for the Les Paul.
2015.11.21: I removed the strings for cleaning while checking the replacement parts.
The reason why the T.O.M. was wrong was that the diameter of the stud and the size of the adapter didn't match and the nut was forcing it to gain height.
Also, for some reason they used stereo jacks and the tap switch was 3 pin on one side and 6 pin on the other.
2015.12.13: I finally got all the parts together and assembled it, except for the knobs, which came right away, so I assembled it and played it lol.
I changed the T.O.M adapter to a compatible one, the jack to a Switch craft mono jack, the jack plate to a metal one the same size as the stock one, the capacitor to an orange drop, the knobs with ornaments were a set of 3 so I replaced them all, made my own rod cover and back panel, and finished it.
The homemade cover is a rough workmanship since it is just a nice thing to have, lol.
I know it's not a genuine T.O.M., but I also flipped the 4th to 6th string pieces around and pulled them in just enough to match the octave.
I was going to change the pots and wiring, but after changing the capacitors, I'm happy with the sound, so I think I'll keep it that way for a while.
2016.6:I replaced the T.O.M. with a Nashville type, but the octave seems to be subtle and still inaccurate due to the poor installation angle of the anchor.
2018.1:I had it replaced with another guitar + alpha.
