Fender Japan Stratocaster ST72
owner: Taka
I bought it for a reasonable price on Mercury because I was longing for a large head Strat.
I was surprised when it arrived, the fretboard was obviously scalloped quite messily by amateur hands and was black with hand stains because it was unpainted. The carving was shallow, so I re-carved it myself at 1mm and clear coated it. the PG has been changed to anodized and lacquered following the olds. The anodized lacquer coating is very comfortable to touch and does not have the feel of metal that might scratch your fingernails, which is highly recommended.
