Suhr/Modern Pro JST
owner: Shin
2020.8.18: I received a private transaction for a low price that left me abandoned in the middle of a custom project.
I was surprised that the grain and color match of the top was cooler than I expected.
2020.8.22: I wanted to put a cover after the stock PU, but I couldn't find anything on the market that would fit, so I went with a DiMarzio Ibanez set.
I wanted to put a cover after the stock PU, but I couldn't find the right one on the market, so I used DiMarzio's Ibanez set.
2020.12.4: I tried to use a Bare Knuckle covered type, but the rear didn't fit in the counterbore, so I went back to the stock PU, which I hadn't used since I bought it.
It now looks and sounds exactly like a normal Suhr Modern (see below).
2021.11.21: I replaced it with a Zebra Aldrich set that I got as a trade-in.
I think the look of the Zebra or Covered is still good for this guitar.
2022.3.7: I got a covered Aldrich set and tried to replace it, but again the rear didn't fit in the counterbore...
I was looking forward to it since my other Suhr PUs didn't do that...
Since I took it off, I'm reassembling it with the DiMarzio set I've posted before.
