AIRCRAFT/AC-4 111375 CR-BS
owner: Shin
2021.3.3: This is an official AC-4 that is rarely seen.
It is said to be a copy of a full-size Strat, but I think my AC-5J is more traditional since it has a heel-less finish and VSVG bridge, but maybe the 4 was not in the model number at that time.
The serial number of the joint plate is close to that of my AC-6, and I think it was manufactured in the late 90's or early 2000's, so the bridge is probably genuine.
2021.3.17: I did some maintenance and checking.
The pickguard has no discoloration at all, so it may have been replaced, but the electrical parts themselves are all standard Aiakura parts, with no evidence of modification.
There was no information on the PU when I bought it, but when I opened it up, I found two Lindy Fralin Wood Stock 69s on the rear with only the date of manufacture written on them.
The tone capacitors were for hum.
The nut is quite a bit higher than the other ones I have, so I'd like to adjust this one.
2021.12.24: As you can see from the stains on the fingerboard, the low positives were well played, the frets were uneven, and the nut was too high, so I had it rubbed and adjusted by PLEK.
