Between Drunkenness and Enthusiasm
owner: Benimaro
Kanda Shokai had a plan to reissue the Macabra from the early stage when they decided to take over the Zemaitis brand, but when the plan was first proposed, it was a normal 6-string version, not a 5-string version. It's no wonder, since the price is a joke at 1,890,000 yen. And if it was an abnormal 5-string version, only a very drunken or enthusiastic Keith fan would buy it. If you are making guitars as a hobby, it doesn't matter, but company management is all about sales. However, one of the employees who said, "If I'm going to make a guitar, it has to be a 5-string Macabra," made the effort and the Macabra was reissued as the original 5-string version. Since the Macabra is completely made to order, you have to go to the Zemaitis Museum to see it. According to the person concerned, less than 10 were made, including prototypes. One was given to Keith, one was given to me, and the other one was given to a Keith fanatic. One was given to Keith, the other to me, and the remaining one to a Keith fan.
