Paul Reed Smith 25th Anniversary SE Custom 24 Floyd Rose Customized
owner: Shiruba^
I just installed a Floyd Rose (Gotoh) on my Paul Reed Smith 25th Anniversary SE Custom 24.
I named it as follows.
Paul Reed Smith 25th Anniversary SE Custom 24 Floyd Rose Customized!
I bought it used for 59,800 yen at K Gakki I store in Tokyo, and told them that I wanted to install a Floyd Rose on it. When I told them that I wanted to install a Floyd Rose (made by Gotoh), they were very understanding and had me install it at C-Kobo via K-Gakki I Store.
C-Kobo makes and sells guitars under the name of C-Kobo, and their installation of the Floyd Rose was perfect!
You can arm down and up as much as you want!
I have a PRS Custom, which is not an SE, and the sound is comparable. If you want to distort it, the current pickups might be better.
The position marks are bird inlays, and the quilted surface is also very nice. It's hard to believe that this guitar was priced at just over 100,000 yen.
There is a PRS Floyd Rose model called Trero, but I think this one is definitely better looking.
I use a Floyd Rose for the reason that it stays in tune even when I arm it hard, and it's one of the best I've ever had!
The P.U. is the same as John Pettrucci of Dream Theater.
