Photogenic ST-180
owner: Shin
Purchased in 2007.1: I got a small acoustic guitar when I was in grade 5 and asked my school teacher to teach me to play it almost every weekday after school.
I started to play the electric guitar, but I always borrowed my teacher's guitar when I practiced.
I saved up all my birthday, Christmas, and New Year's money to buy my first guitar.
June 15, 2014: I've been playing this guitar for almost 5 years without any knowledge of maintenance or customization, and the frets and other parts were damaged.
I did some fret friction, nut replacement, strap pin hole reinforcement, and decorating with stickers and blacked out PU cover.
Well, it was an amateur's first job, so I made a lot of mistakes in terms of repairs...
2020.11: I had a lot of feelings for it after my last failure on my own, so I kept it and never let it go.
I had a friend who is a repairman and he helped me to make the fret board, nut, and bridge.
I tried to assemble the electrics with an extra active PU, but it didn't go together well because the jack was missing a counterbore, so I'm keeping it with the intention of reassembling it with a genuine PU someday.
2022.9.24: I revived it by using the original PU and parts taken from other guitars.
I think the accuracy of the assembly is much better than the original.
