(売却)AIRCRAFT - AC5J Ash Natural
owner: Shin
2017.7.5: I was shopping around and found this one freshly registered.
I've always wanted a standard spec Strat with a natural color ash body, so I thought it was a good buy.
There is no serial number stamped on the neck joint plate, so it may have been replaced.
It looks like the neck was almost transplanted to another guitar in the past, and there are signs that they tried to drill 4 screw holes separately.
When we contacted Moridaira, we were told that it may have been a low-priced version of the Aircra model sold in the Hokuriku region around 1993. They said that it might have been a lower-priced version of the Aircula sold around 1993 in the Hokuriku region.
There is also a Bill Lawrence stamp on the bridge saddle.
2018.12: All PUs were replaced with Suhr ML.
2020.7.12: Added cushioning material to the neck joint plate.
I compared the body size as I got a lot of Airacras and compared to the AC5 without pickguard, this one is a full size body and close to the AC7.
I don't know when the AC4 was added to the lineup, but if it was added later than the 5, maybe this is the original version of it?
2024.8: I owned this for a long time, but sold it because of the AC-4 and the fact that I rarely use 3S guitars in the first place.
