(Sold) BURNY - RLC-70S
owner: Shin
2018.2.13: I dropped this off at auction as junk.
It was missing the jack, selector knob, lock nut cap, tension bar, pick guard, control panel, rod cover, and arm, and one jack plate, selector, insert block, and one plastic ring on the peg was damaged.
The frets are also groove worn and floating, and the body is partially tanned and gradient colored (lol).
I've been wondering how Floyd would look on a Les Paul for a while, and I finally got it for junk because it was often over my budget when it was listed on the market.
I got all the missing/damaged parts except the rod cover and assembled it.
I bought a generic pickguard, but the rear PU was slightly closer to the front to increase the distance from the bridge stud, so I had to cut the pickguard by myself to make it fit.
The rod cover also has a tension bar, so I had to give up on the rod cover because the screw holes did not fit for a general-purpose rod cover...
The power seems to be good, but the front sustainer driver does not make any sound.
2018.2.24: At the workshop, I wondered if it might be due to some parts of the circuit board failing? I tried my luck, but they replaced it and fixed it!
The replacement part was the last one in stock and will not be available in the future...
2018.4: The fret replacement is still expensive and there are some missing parts that cannot be replaced, so I sold it, although it was a bit of a waste of money.
