2020.8.18: I got this at auction.
It was originally red and the PU cavity still has remnants of that color.
It seems to have been refinished by ESP in Purple Sunset. The logo on the head is still there, but there is no serial number.
Unlike other FIDES I have, only the back of the neck is painted matte, so it is easy to play even if you hold it for a long time.
The knobs on the pegs are the Cruson type that was used on models around 2004, so I think this is a very early model.
The fingerboard is bird's eye maple and the spring cavity back panel is missing.
The previous owner seemed to have taken good care of it and it was a good buy with no damage.
2024.6: I sold this guitar because I could use it in live performances with Kopivan, but otherwise it has always been a collection piece.
The neck is slightly off-center on the first string side, and I was concerned that the strings would fall off if I didn't get used to it.
