2020.10.31: This is an individual that has been too dirty to clean in a long time (see below).
This was one of those pieces that, once cleaned, you could see that the handling, etc. was not so bad.
The PU lines are the same color as Duncan's, but there was no model number sticker or Duncan's stamp on the bass plate, so it may be ESP original?
The tone is simple with no tap function instead of a switch pot.
The bridge studs are not anchor type but wood screw type, the tremolo back panel is dropped into the body, and there is no grounding treatment on the PU counterbore, so I think it is from the first period.
On the front PU counterbore, there was a black pen with the initials STBLK, which stands for see-through black.
I have more frets left than the red one I like, so I'm going to leave it for a while.
2021.11: I sold it because I had a higher-end model available and never used it.
