A friend bought a YAMAHA 512J for 2000 yen (junk) for 1000 yen. Apparently, it was priced this way because of a warped neck. There was no rear PU, so I installed a YAMAHA(?) humbucker that I had lying around the house. I was impressed by the careful construction of this guitar, which seems to be made in Japan.
