Feb. 6, 2016: I got a Soloist with a big logo and liked it, but I was thinking that I wanted a 2-hump.
The description said it was equipped with EMG 81 and 85, but when I took them off, I found they were both 81, the vol pot was 500k ohms, and the electrical cover was my own work (lol).
Well, the price was pretty cheap, and they also gave me a strap and a lock pin, so I closed the deal as it was.
The volume pot was replaced with A25kΩ, the bridge was a copy of FRT made by schaller, and the back panel was made by ESP, which I had left over.
Since it is an active PU and has an arming adjuster, I put up a DR 10-60 gauge and set it to drop C.
Two stock springs and two power springs were used.
The cut on the high positive part of the through neck makes it easier to play than the deca logo.
2017.9.30: I replaced the bridge with a Floyd Rose II, which has almost the same specifications as Schaller's FRT-2.
I feel that the amount of tightening the spring adjustment screws is less than the Chinese version of FRT and the sound is sharper than before.
The arm is not stock, so it hangs around, but I don't care because I can't cricket when it has an adjuster.
2017.12: I gave it away because I had no occasion to use it at all.
