2021.2.9: I have long wanted to have this custom one day, and have been waiting for the right time to get it because collector condition is difficult to use because of the care and attention, and many cheap ones are physically torn up from heavy use.
This one I was able to acquire this time is quite damaged in parts attached to it, but fortunately the body side is intact.
There is no serial number, so I assume it is a color order.
2021.2.14: Maintenance and parts replaced.
The plating around the edge of the bridge was so bad that I had to replace it with Schaller's Lock Meister.
The dimensions are the same as the original Floyd, so no modifications were made.
The sustain block was 32mm on the stock one and 37mm on the Schaller set I bought, but there was no interference with the back panel or counterbore, and the tremolo spring was balanced fine, so I used it as is.
I had some extra stainless steel screws for fixing the saddle and I wanted to use them for a long time to come, so I changed the insert block to titanium and the locking screw of the block to stainless steel to make it look more attractive.
The image is before the change, but the nut cap screws were also changed to stainless steel.
Only the tension bar was left stock because the type of mounting screws were different from the ones in the set.
Other than the above, I changed the screws of the escutcheon and the back panel, added felt washers to the strap pins, put cushioning material on the bridge drop, and changed the wiring so that the adjustable pole piece becomes effective at the coil tap of the front PU.
This color is not on the official product page, and the front is SH-1N instead of APH-1N, so it may be an order including that.
The frets have been fretted, but the shaping is still delicate and some grooves are starting to form there, so I am going to ask the workshop to fret it for me.
The position of the bridge saddle and the neck shape seem to be from the same period as the red Horizon II that I have.
2023.11: I replaced the bridge with a used Floyd Rose Original and sold it because I never used it.
