(Sold) ESP/M-SEVEN
owner: Shin
2021.7.17: I won this bid because I rarely see 7-string ESPs in junk and I wanted to try one.
It is the same color as Killer's FASCIST, so I personally don't think it looks like ESP at all.
The exterior is also noticeable, but the electrical components have been wired and replaced in a mess, and the bridge has been disassembled and reassembled incorrectly, so it was very difficult to get it to play properly.
The bridge was taken apart and assembled incorrectly, and it took a lot of work to get it sounding right. The only thing that was not usable was the PU and selector, which had been replaced with various screws that did not match the standard.
I bought the original one in pieces because it was missing the nut cap, and to my surprise it didn't fit.
The frets are starting to wear down and some of the side position marks have been removed, but the neck itself looks decent.
2021.8.30: I asked ESP to find a nut cap in stock at their store and was able to get it on order.
The current Floyd original is 11.3mm wide, but the one that fits the one on this model is 10.8mm wide.
It is currently adjusted to a drop F#.
2021.12.3: I had the missing side position marks repaired and replaced one saddle that was on the wrong side with a new one, and also replaced all the string locking screws and insert blocks.
The external damage is noticeable, but I think the condition of the instrument is fine.
2022.7: I sold it because I hardly used it.
