Sub guitar GRECO EW-105LH (FRT spec.)
owner: Papo Project@Gt.Hara
GRECO's EW-105LH.
The back and neck are matted, and the neck is thick but feels great to hold and fit in comfortably.
The bridge was a Wilkinson VS-100N, but was replaced with a GOTOH Floyd Rose (GE1996T).
I can now play harder arming.
It is tuned in drop C# tuning, with 46-10 gauge strings.
The tremolo spring in the back is a hard GOTOH spring, so two straight strings are sufficient, and the arm touch is surprisingly soft.
The weight is a little heavier, but the sound is still loud, and the whole body feels as if it is ringing.

sound features | Almost Les Paul sound. The sound was rampant and the bass sounded good, but it was suffering from a blurred sound. However, after replacing the Floyd Rose with a Gotoh Floyd Rose, the bass became crisp and tight, resulting in a well-balanced sound. The neck is a three-stopper bolt-on neck, but it is made to feel quite similar to a set neck, so it provides sustain on par with a Les Paul. The PU was replaced from the original Greco to an EMG 57/66. The sound is close to passive, and has EMG-like attack and good punch. The sound is well-balanced and easy to use. |
