Limited edition of 100 Takanaka Stratocaster released in 2007.
This instrument was designed with the utmost emphasis on neck and body balance, with a modern C-shaped 22-fret maple 1pc neck jointed to an alder 2p body selected by the Fender Custom Shop.
The joints are heel-cut, and the medium jumbo frets set on the 9.5R fingerboard are very carefully finished for smooth fingering. The joint plate has Mr. Takanaka's trademark palm tree and logo.
Both the body and neck are finished with thin nitrocellulose lacquer, and the body color is 3-tone sunburst.
