(Sold)AIRCRAFT/AC-7E Model by Takashi Masuzaki
owner: Shin
2020.12.14: This is the first generation of AC-7s, and there are only 24 of each with different fingerboards (30 each on the front side?). This is a very rare one.
This one was found dead stock at a music store and sold as new several years ago, and I was lucky enough to acquire it after going around among my acquaintances on the Internet.
The previous owner had played it a lot, so the frets were worn down, the paint on the back of the neck was scratched, and the pickguard had some noticeable scratches from playing.
The bridge was also in a very close octave position, and the spring had to be hung in the shape of a "C" or else it would interfere with the counterbore.
There are no major problems for now, but there are some chips on the fretboard and fret rubbing, so I will bring it to a repair shop for consultation.
2023.3: I sold it because I didn't use it at all and it was just a collection piece.
I like the look of it, so I may build a replica spec guitar in warmoth if I feel like it.
