(Sold) AIRCRAFT - AC5 (probably ordered in 90's)
owner:
Shin
2018.3.19: I was given this guitar in a direct transaction.
It is quite close to my ideal with a maple fretboard, a body with visible grain, switcheroo style and Schaller FRT-2 specs.
I wanted it without the bridge recess processing, but there weren't enough of them out there to choose from...
I contacted Moridaira and they said that they did the recessing if it was wholesale to the store or if it was specified in the order.
2018.6.16: I had the fret rubbing with Plek and the rear PU replaced with Dimazio FRED at TUNE Guitar Maniac in Hyogo, Japan.
I am very happy with the sound and the frets are not too low.
2025.9: I sold it back to the previous owner after he asked me to do so due to infrequent use.

| sound features | I had the impression that the Tom Anne PU had a better distortion sound than the Schecter PU of similar shape, but I thought it was not a good match with the EMG-SA. |
