This is FENDER JAPAN's TL-STD.
It has been modified with the Telecaster used by Seiichi Shindo of Porno Graffitti in mind.
The modifications include changing the rear to a Duncan STL-1, the nut to a TASQ, the pot to a CTS, the condenser to an Orange Drop, the plate to a Tone Shift, and the body to a Tone Shift. The plate was changed to Tone Shift, the knobs were changed, the body was reliced, a badge was put on with double-sided tape, and many other things. ...
The neck is satin, but it has a nice burnt out look.

| sound features | The first unmodified version produced only a thin, poor sound. But when I changed pickups, wiring materials, capacitors, etc. It sounds like a Telecaster, which is completely different from the initial state. I can't get enough of the rear jangle. The only thing I don't like is that the body is basswood. On July 10, 2013, the plate was changed to Tone Shift by FREEDOM CUSTOM GUITAR RESEARCH. I recommend it. |
