Junk Bizarre Refurbished Products
owner: Gakudanhitori
I bid on it on Yahoo! Auctions and won it, so I played it.
The PU has been replaced from the beginning and is a mesh wire, so it looks kind of nice.
The metal parts have been thoroughly polished.
The missing pickguard was made by myself.
The neck was made of plywood and was in a helpless state, so I replaced it with a used Mavis Strat neck (1,500 yen with body).
The bridge was a metal plate screwed on type, but it sounded crappy, so I replaced it with a common tom type by hammering in an anchor.
It sounds like nothing when I write it down.
But it was necessary to center the neck to match the size of the joint, and to make it millimeter by millimeter.
It was a lot of work to re-do the fret edges and rub them together because it was a cheap guitar neck.
The new neck makes the guitar feel more like a strat.
