blade Stratotype
owner: Uchiujin
I found it at a music store and bought it 3 months later because it was still on sale. The previous owner had done a lot of tinkering (see ......), so I had him put the batteries for the active pickups, which were screwed in under the pickguard, in a box behind the body. The knobs on the controls are for audio equipment and are rather annoying, and the screw holes on the pickguard are out of alignment, so it still looks like junk.
I had given it to a friend about 4 years ago, but he didn't seem to use it, so I took it back to my house. It's easier to play than I thought it would be, but as I recall, the truss rod is at the limit of adjustment or something, so I can't lower the string height, so I thought I'd use it for blues or slide.
