Akira Wada Model
owner: Ebiban
I got my first long-term part-time job as a junior in college (12 years ago) and won my first guitar with the money I worked for.
I purchased it at Shimokura Second Hands in Ochanomizu.
At first I wanted a '78 Mustang, but I gave it up because it was too hard to play (lol).
I looked around and found this guitar.
The first thing that caught my attention was the PU layout. I thought this was a layout I had never seen before, so I asked to try it.
I asked the sales clerk about it, and he told me that it was the "Akira Wada" model.
I had never heard of the band "Prism" at the time, but I fell in love with the looks of it, so I bought it.
Later, when I got to know Akira Wada better, I became hesitant to play it in public because of the difference between my skills and his.
Recently, I asked a Prism fan I met about it, and he told me that it was a custom model. It is true that PAWs in this color and parts don't come up at all in my online research.
[Postscript: August 2011, a certain day.
I am now sending this to a repair shop. The condition of the neck and other parts seem to be terrible, but it will all be improved and will come back.
